pop-a-licious!

while carrying my little lovebug i became obsessed with any and everything lamb! she has a lamb mobile, lamb swing, lamb bibs, lamb...oh, you get the picture. anywho, when i saw these sheep cake pops from bakerella i almost passed out.

they are made of sugar pearls, licorice and rainbow chip sprinkles. yum-o! these would be perfect at a lamb themed 1st birthday party!

and what about this chocolate covered creme cheese frosting yummy goodness? delish!

and i'm no spring chicken, but the little chicks cake pops are perfection!

let them eat cake!

doing a little digging.. trying to nail down a theme.. which i hope to settle on in the next week or so.. the little munchkin really loves picking flowers so i was thinking maybe a garden with bumble bees theme? at any rate.. it's not a party with out cake!! and i am partial to cupcakes.. i ran into these beautiful creations on the sugarbloom cupcakes and macaroons blog..

LOVES!!

can you say YUM!! it's almost too beautiful to eat.. i said almost:-)

pearls and khaki's.. tee hee:-)

exquisite.

these guys have gotten so busy they arent taking any more orders until september!! my munchkin turns two in august:-( but they have recipes!! i should start practicing now. like right now.

and away we go!

so my colleague/pal and i have been threatening to launch a little party planning business for years now... we have let school and careers and family get in the way.. but we're working on it:-)

now that we have two precious little girls we are in full party planning mode.. with a first and second birthday in the near future we are starting this little blog to collect ideas and show off our own little creations..

and away we go!

love, love, LOVE poofs (that's what i call them), but i think most people call them pom's.. and thanks to the martha stewart tutorial.. i can pull this off myself! you can also get them here.

attention to detail.. that's what makes a party in my book. these little cupcakes with matching rosettes and patterned paper are way too cute...

i had every intention of making party hats last year for the little munchkin's ladybug themed party but ran out of time.. maybe if i start now?

personalized beverages are a must!

now that's what i call original.. LOVES IT!
